If you’re looking for a Cap Ferrat villa rental or any other property on the French Riviera, we’re sure you’re curious about the meals. Continue reading to learn everything you need to know about breakfast, lunch, and supper on the Côte d’Azur.

Breakfast

Breakfast can start as early as 6 a.m. on the Riviera, with some pastry shops and coffee shops beginning at that hour. Traditional pastries such as croissants, pain au chocolat, apple pies, and more are offered. If you’re yearning something sweet, we recommend the almond-flavored viennoiseries. You will not be disappointed!

You may always attend hotel brunches on the Riviera if you prefer a more substantial meal. The Marylebone Riviera is one of our faves, where you can have avocado toast or chia pudding while gazing out at the sea.

Lunch

Some lunch restaurants are open all day, which is rare for the Riviera, where people live at a slower pace. One of the restaurants recognized for its flexible hours is African Queen in Beaulieu-sur-Mer. Traditional cuisine served at this restaurant include niçoise salad, fish soup, and various fish and meat dishes.

Most restaurants, on the other hand, are open for lunch from 12:00 to 14:00 and provide whatever cuisine you like. This neighborhood has restaurants serving Italian, French, Chinese, Japanese, and Indian food. Since the border is only 30 minutes away, we propose visiting your favorite Italian restaurant – the experience can only be spectacular!

Dinner

Dinner alternatives differ widely, not just in terms of cuisine but also in terms of ambience. There are black tie places as well as a nice tranquil seaside café. Don’t be fooled by Riviera’s proximity to Monaco; this small country is full of surprises for visitors. Everything from renowned Parisian cafés to enormous luxury gourmet restaurants is offered here.

If you plan on hiring a car, we recommend going to Italy – Dolceaqua and San Remo are both famous for their fantastic eateries.
